How it all started

Hello, welcome to my page! I've decided to start a blog about my sketches, it all started about 3 years ago when I thought it would be nice to sketch a Birthday card for my Partner Neil, I didn't allow myself much time  I think I had 3 days! There was limited space for me to hide myself away while I secretly sketched his favourite animal at that time!  He was so pleased with it he framed it, I moved on to sketching pictures,  Someone suggested I should think about selling some of my art. I think a sketched card is more personal than looking for a particular Greetings card in a shop to fit the person. I have set up a page on Facebook, where I have shared some pictures & Birthday Cards I have done recently. I have completed a few commissions & have just been asked to do another, I sketch from a photo or picture, anything from a favourite pet or animal, or personality, I have a range of pictures hanging on my wall , I will share a few for you to see some of my recent work. If there is anything you like or would like me to sketch for you please contact me for details, I will be adding my work at regular intervals, there seems to be at least one Birthday a month! The latest topic has been  characters from "The Hobbit"   Look out for my next project from Dr Who!
